Write to [email protected]. Please say which device and which version of the system you are using.
To read the measurements the system has already computed about your own photos — sharpness, exposure, faces, screenshots. These live in databases inside the photo library package, and permission to read photos does not cover reading files. The app only reads them and never writes there. Without it, everything else still works.
They are computed on the Mac and travel to the phone with syncing. Load them on the Mac, sync both devices, and they will appear.
Syncing is manual on both sides: each device writes its own file and reads the other’s when you ask it to. Press sync on the second device too. If the file sits in iCloud Drive, give it a moment to upload before reading it elsewhere.
Into Recently Deleted in the system Photos app, where they stay recoverable for 30 days.
